Spectacle Ponds are just 2 of 8 ponds in Oxford County which totals 99 square miles of the 2,077 square miles of the County.  Bickford, Black, Chapman, Colcord, Mine and Plain Pond are the other ponds. Oxford County borders the Canadian province of Quebec and the State of New Hampshire.
